A REVIEW: THE BODY SHOP DAY AND NIGHT CREAM DUO

A few weeks ago, I bought these two stunning products from The Body Shop. These are the Vitamin E Nourishing Night Cream and the Aloe Soothing Day Cream. They are the perfect moisturising duo to cover you and your skincare 24/7. They both have their own benefits which make them a perfect duo. I love the Body Shop as you can probably tell from my multiple posts about their products, and once again, they haven't let me down.

For a little while now, I have been using the Nivea Night Cream, but I decided to buy the new Vitamin E Night Cream after running out of the Nivea one. I have always been a fan of the vitamin E range as it has always been my go-to range for makeup remover and hand cream due to their moisturising benefits. Since buying the night cream, I have used it every night, along with a few other products (also in the vitamin E range) and in the few weeks I have had to try it out, I have seen a small change in my skin which I wasn't expecting quite so fast. I usually suffer with quite dry skin on my nose area, but this night cream has helped a lot to keep it moisturised and in the perfect condition.

I usually only apply this product straight before bed as it is quite an oily moisturiser. I expected it to be quite oily as it is a night cream which requires a lot of moisture. I am not a big fan of oily mositurisers on my face and I tend to play around with my face when I do have it on. So, I realised that it was better to apply it straight before bed. I also use a serum from the Vitamin E range which I will also review soon, but I only really use that on my under-eyes. The Vitamin E Night Cream is a product I would recommend for dry skin but I would avoid it if you have oily skin, as it may make it worse.

The Aloe Soothing Day Cream is again, a new favourite product of mine. The name describes it so well. It is a really cooling and soothing moisturiser which I love to apply a small amount of as soon as I get out of bed in the morning. It really helps to wake my skin up in the morning, This product is ideal for sensitive skin which doesn't surprise me as it is a really soft and subtle cream. It doesn't have a strong scent which will help with those who's skin doesn't react well to strong fragrances. It really helps to regenerate my dull looking skin and add a bit of shine to it, making it look a lot healthier.

I definitely think that these two products have together really helped to keep my skin hydrated. I have always had trouble with dry skin on my nose, but this has helped a lot to change that. My makeup also sits a lot better around my nose area now too which is great! As it has only been two weeks, I am still hoping to see a few more changes. I will definitely continue to use these products and I am almost definitely going to repurchase these products once I run out. However, I can already tell that they are going to be very long-lasting products.

Have you tried any of these products?

P.s. I will be changing my blogging schedule as of today. I am starting college and I want to be able to dedicate the majority of my time to studying and working towards my potential. I will only be posting once or twice a week. Definitely every Sunday and hopefully one Wednesday a month. Wednesday as well, when I am able to. Thank you,

Chloe x
