Valentine Themed Special: Outfit and Makeup

This is a very unusual time for me to be posting, but I really wanted to do a Valentine's Outfit - it is probably the closest I will get to a romantic Valentine's Day, lit with candles, this year! Anyway, I thought this was the best time to post it because I know that many of you girls will be frantically searching your wardrobes and the internet for inspiration! Many of you will be heading out for a romantic meal with your loved one tomorrow and I just wanted to give those of you who need some inspiration, some ideas of what to wear! Obviously, what ever you choose to wear, you want to make sure you feel comfortable in it. Wear what you want to wear, it is one of the best ways for you to express yourself!

I also decided to do a makeup look with this post! I did a slightly smoky eye with red lips because I wanted my lips and eyes to stand out as much as possible. I didn't go too overboard with my bronzer or blusher to make sure of this. I used my Naked 2 palette for this look! 

Here's the makeup products that I used:

• Body Shop Argon Oil Moisturiser 
• Body Shop Instablur Primer
• No7 Foundation
• Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
• MUA Blusher (BonBon)
• Body Shop Honey Blusher (Fair Matte)
• Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation (Ivory) - I used this almost as a highlighter because it is quite dewy and is slightly shimmery compared to my other foundation.
• Urban Decay Eye Primer (original)
• Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette - Foxy all over the eye, Booty Call in the corner of my eye, Tease on the outer eye, blended with Snake Bite, Busted and Blackout in the outer crease of my eye
• Maybelline Great Lash Mascara
• Rimmel Stay Matte Powder 
• MAC Rebel Lipstick 
• KIKO Lip Liner (308)

For my outfit, I decided to wear a pinky purple blousy top, tucked into a black and white polka dot skater skirt. I also chose to wear tights with black chelsea boots. To add to the look, I am wearing a statement flower necklace, a rose gold watch, a golden ring and a few little bracelets. 

For me, personally, I would dress up to go for a meal out, especially with someone who I loved dearly! This is not the same for everyone, some feel a lot more comfortable in causal clothing. But, I have always loved this one skirt and I would definitely wear it this Valentine's Day! I hope this has helped you decide what you are going to wear, if you are going out!
