I know that many people use concealers, and for me, it is one of my most go to makeup products. I use concealer everyday because without it, my skin looks terrible! If you don't know what concealer is, it's a kind of liquid (like foundation) that covers up spots and blemishes on your skin. Both of these concealers are amazing and I would recommend both of them! However, this blog post is going to analyse both of them and hopefully bring an outcome of my favourite one...
Brushes:
I find that these concealers both have a very similar brush but I find that the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer it a lot more tidy and collects a suitable amount of liquid. The brush is also very soft which makes it easy to glide it along the skin. However, I find that the Collection 2000 concealer brush is a lot messier because it collect too much liquid and so therefore can sometimes cause it to drip. I also find that the brush sometimes soaks up the liquid so that you end up with a lot less on your skin.

Coverage:
Because these concealers are so similar, I find that the coverage is very hard to differentiate between. I think that the Rimmel is a lot runnier but the Collection 2000 is a lot thicker and usually covers spots better. It depends what you're trying to cover. Personally, I think that the Rimmel concealer is runnier and better for covering blemishes and the Collection 2000 concealer is thicker and better for covering spots.

Longevity:
When it comes to concealers, they ideally have got to last at least 6 hours to cover the school day. I find that both of these wear off after about 3/4 hours and I have to reapply. However, these are drugstore products and so therefore you cannot really expect all day wear for such a cheap product. I find that the Rimmel concealer wears off quicker than the collection concealer because I feel the Rimmel is a lot runnier than the Collection 2000 concealer.. I find that it goes oily on my skin and wears off. Whereas, the Collection stays on a lot longer. The collection does go patchy for me, but this may be down to my skin type.

Shade range:
These concealers both have the perfect shade for me, but however, they don't have a large range of shades generally. Both have about 4 shades each...proving that there isn't a large range available. For that reason, based on shade range, these concealers are pretty much the same.

Appearance on skin:
Liquids like concealers and foundations often go clumpy or oily on my skin and I am not sure why but I usually use powder to set them and prevent this for a little while longer. I find that the Rimmel concealer makes my skin look oily, but usually looks more natural than the Collection concealer. The Collection concealer often goes clumpy on my skin which looks terrible and therefore, I'd rather have my concealer go oily and rub off than be patchy and look terrible. For this reason, I would say that Rimmel is a lot better for me appearance wise.

Packaging:
Both concealers are very similar appearance wise. Packaging isn't impotant for me because it's what's inside that matters. However, I would say that Rimmel's is a lot more eye catching because of the bright orange. However, both do the job of keeping the concealer suitable to use.

Reapplication:
This is the section where I find that Rimmel's concealer is a lot better. It's imporatnt for me to be able to reapply my concealer because both of these wear off throughout the day. I think that the best concealer to reapply with is the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer because it's a lot more runnier. The Collection conealcer tends to cling to the makeup I am already wearing, which makes it very hard to actually run into your skin. It goes clumpy instead. The Rimmel, on the other hand is a lot easier to reapply.

Price:
Both of these concealers are quite cheap compared to higher range products such as MAC, YSL, Too Faced, etc. Rimmel = £5.49 and Collection = £4.19. If you were looking for the cheapest one, the Collection 2000 would be the best one to get as it is more than £1 cheaper.

Winner:
So, collecting all of this information, we have a draw! Both of these concealers have advantages and disadvantages, as everything. However, if you're looking for a certain quality, you may be better off buying one, rather than the other. If you have been thinking about buying a concealer recently, I hope this has helped you.
